HAPPY HOME RESERVE

Public BBQ

A large, well-maintained reserve at Salisbury with a great deal packed in: a one-kilometre fitness loop with free exercise equipment, two fully fenced dog parks, professional-quality tennis courts for hire with a pro shop, basketball courts, a public swimming pool, a road safety facility where children learn road rules, and excellent paved walking trails. The playgrounds are well regarded and there is plenty of room for a picnic. Birdlife is good, with kookaburras about early. It is a genuine breath of fresh air for the area. Two things to be aware of: people sleep rough in the reserve, and discarded needles have been found, so look over the ground before letting children loose.
